The Innovation Fund is inviting grant applications to support the transformation of Danish research and knowledge into innovative products and technologies with clear societal and economic value.
The focus areas, of the initiative include strengthening innovation based on Danish research and knowledge, developing products and technologies with societal and economic benefits, supporting improvements to the healthcare system, enhancing company net incomes, and increasing Danish export potential.
The program has a total budget of at least DKK 100 million, with individual project investments ranging from DKK 5 million to DKK 40 million. Funded projects are expected to transform research and knowledge into practical and scalable innovations that generate value across multiple sectors.
Projects may run for a duration of 1 to 5 years, allowing flexibility for both shorter development efforts and longer-term innovation initiatives. This timeframe supports the progression from research-based knowledge to tangible outcomes and market-ready solutions.
Any legal entity in Denmark or abroad may participate as a project partner and receive funding, including businesses, research institutions, and public institutions, enabling broad collaboration across sectors and borders.
