The ARISE 2nd Open Call is now open, offering organisations the chance to develop innovative Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) solutions with funding and support to bring their ideas to life.
The programme focuses on dismantling and assembly of high-value products, complex product picking in industrial warehouses, flexible collaborative robots, smart programming, enhanced robot functionality through multimodal HRI interactions, fetch and carry tasks in healthcare environments, HRI for improving efficiency of workers in high-precision flexible tasks, and HRI for improving ergonomics in high-precision tasks.
Participants will receive a grant of up to €200,000 per project and benefit from a 12-month support program, including mentoring and collaboration with leading experts in the field of HRI. The programme encourages the development of cutting-edge solutions that will shape the future of industry.
Eligible applicants must include a main technology provider, which is mandatory and must be an SME (including startups) or Mid-Cap responsible for developing HRI capabilities. A second technology provider is optional and may be any entity with a technical profile. An end-user is also mandatory and proposes the use-case setting the needs of the HRI application. If the main technology provider is an SME, the end-user may be the same SME or another entity of any type. If the main technology provider is not an SME, or if there is no second technology provider, or if the second technology provider is not an SME, the end-user must be an SME.
