Do you work in the creative industries and are planning to enter new markets? The Vienna Business Agency can support you – with their Creative Industries Market Entry Funding program.
The focus areas and priorities of the program include supporting personnel and travel expenses for training and business trips, covering costs for external services such as consulting, marketing and sales support for market entry, and funding tangible and intangible investments including machinery, software, intellectual property, and trademark rights. The Creative Industries Market Entry Funding Program is open to existing small, medium, and large creative companies seeking to expand into new markets and unlock additional sales channels. Funding is provided for eligible project expenses that help promote international growth and strengthen competitiveness.
The maximum funding amount is 50,000 euros per project, with a funding rate of 50 percent and a minimum eligible project size of 5,000 euros. Projects may run for up to two years. A special women’s bonus of 5,000 euros is available for projects led by a qualified woman, providing additional encouragement for women leadership in the creative sector.
Eligible costs include personnel costs for employee training and business trips, external services such as consulting and marketing, investment in machinery and software, and costs related to intellectual property or trademark rights. An advance payment of up to 50 percent of the approved funding amount can be requested to support project startup. Applications are evaluated by an independent jury, and applicants are required to submit a completed grant application, a de minimis declaration, financial statements, and CVs of project management as part of the submission process.
