The SPARK Program, launched by the Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (SINE) at IIT Bombay in partnership with HDFC Bank Parivartan, is a high-impact scale-up initiative designed to accelerate commercialization and create national and global impact for early-revenue, technology-driven startups.
The program focuses on bridging the scale-up gap, accelerating commercialization, driving national impact, enhancing global competitiveness, providing grant funding, offering structured mentorship, increasing visibility, facilitating networking, and providing access to the IIT Bombay ecosystem. The SPARK Program is open to early-revenue startups working in sectors such as Mobility and Electric Vehicles, Energy and Battery Technologies, Advanced Materials, Power Electronics, Semiconductors, Quantum Technologies, Bioengineering, Healthcare, CleanTech and Sustainability, Robotics, Smart Manufacturing, and Deep Tech.
Selected startups receive grant funding of up to ₹50 Lakhs per startup, linked to milestone achievements, ensuring targeted growth and commercialization progress. Structured mentorship from domain experts is provided to guide startups in refining their business strategies, technology applications, and market approach.
Participants also gain visibility and networking opportunities within the startup and investor ecosystem, enabling connections with potential collaborators, investors, and industry partners. Access to the IIT Bombay ecosystem further supports startups in leveraging technical, research, and entrepreneurial resources to accelerate their scale-up journey.
