The Fiji Agri-Innovate Competition invites agribusiness entrepreneurs and startups to apply for an opportunity to enhance their business potential and gain financial support.
The competition focuses on supporting innovators and entrepreneurs currently running businesses in the agriculture sector, ensuring that participating businesses are registered in Fiji, and prioritizing scalable and market-ready ventures that demonstrate commercial viability, growth potential, innovation through a unique value proposition, team strength, traction, and capacity for job creation. Participants selected as top entrants will benefit from a business plan bootcamp designed to develop their capacity and strengthen their agribusiness ventures. The competition also offers a chance to win FJD 5,000 to support business growth. The initiative is part of the Sustainable Transformation of Domestic Agrifood Systems in Fiji (STODAS) project, funded by the European Union, which aims to strengthen domestic agricultural production and consumption through a resilient and sustainable agrifood system transformation.
This opportunity is ideal for Fijian agribusinesses seeking to scale up their operations, improve market readiness, and gain practical support in building stronger business models. The program emphasizes innovation, sustainability, and job creation to foster a more competitive and resilient agrifood sector in Fiji.
