The Startmate Accelerator, supported by Startmate, is designed to fast-track the growth of early-stage startups through a 12-week intensive programme that combines capital, product development, founder support, and fundraising access.
The focus areas of the opportunity are a 12-week accelerator programme, $120k investment, building a better product with more users, access to the best platform in ANZ to raise capital, connecting with founders, working alongside ambitious founders, $120k investment at a $1.5m post-money valuation for founders who haven’t raised a previous round, matching the latest valuation for founders who have raised, access to a community of 4000+ founders, operators and investors, access to talented operators, warm introductions to VC and angel investors and mentors, supercharging fundraising, bulletproofing your pitch, creating a fundraising strategy, investor access including in the US, continued investment through the Continuity fund, Startmate brand support, customer obsession, and relentless focus on listening, learning, and building a product customers want.
The accelerator runs over a 12-week period and is designed to help founders accelerate company growth by focusing on product development, customer acquisition, and capital readiness. Participants receive upfront investment and structured support aimed at improving traction and positioning startups for future funding rounds. A core element of the programme is the founder community, where participants work closely with peers facing similar challenges, as well as experienced founders who have previously gone through the same journey. This environment is designed to reduce founder isolation and create long-term professional relationships.
Startmate provides access to a large network of founders, operators, and investors across Australia and New Zealand, enabling startups to connect with high-quality talent and relevant capital providers. The programme prioritizes fundraising readiness by supporting founders to refine pitches, shape fundraising strategies, and engage with suitable investors.
