The HEYA – Women in Innovation program is designed to help women in Jordan transform their home-based projects and early-stage ventures into scalable, sustainable businesses.
By supporting home enterprises, startups and new business ideas, the initiative aims to create long-term economic opportunities while strengthening women’s entrepreneurial leadership across various governorates. The program plays a vital role in advancing women’s economic empowerment and fostering job creation through innovative, locally driven business development.
This opportunity is open to a diverse group of women, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most. Eligible participants include Jordanian women, Syrian refugee women, women living in rural or marginalized areas, and those from low-income families. The program specifically welcomes entrepreneurs who are running home-based projects or developing early-stage business ideas, reflecting its commitment to helping women overcome barriers and build sustainable livelihoods.
Applications must be submitted directly by the founder, ensuring that each participant is personally engaged in the process. Completing the application takes about one hour, and applicants are advised to have all relevant project documents and information prepared in advance. This helps streamline the process and ensures that each proposal accurately reflects the business’s current stage and needs.
To better support different types of ventures, the program offers two distinct tracks. The first track focuses on home-based projects, helping women strengthen, formalize or expand their existing operations. The second track supports startups and growing entrepreneurial projects, offering resources tailored to businesses ready to scale. Through these tracks, HEYA provides direct and practical support to women at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, enabling them to transform their ideas into sustainable and impactful enterprises.
