Deadline Date: December 14, 2025
The new Venture Builder Scheme introduced by TANSIM presents a significant opportunity for organisations and individuals experienced in nurturing early-stage startups.
With twenty Venture Builders to be positioned across ten Regional Hubs, the initiative opens the door for capable teams to directly influence Tamil Nadu’s startup landscape. This decentralised approach ensures that innovation support reaches founders across the state, not just in major cities.
To encourage performance and accountability, each Venture Builder will receive a grant of ₹2.5 lakh upon successful completion of their yearly targets, verified by an Evaluation Committee. An allocation of ₹50 lakh has been dedicated to the scheme for the 2025–26 financial year, reflecting the government’s strong commitment to nurturing a new wave of high-quality startup creation.
The scheme invites applications from registered legal entities across India, including private limited companies, LLPs, Section 8 companies, societies, trusts and partnerships. Applicants are expected to demonstrate proven experience in building startups, incubation, consulting or entrepreneurship support, along with documented achievements in taking ideas to MVP. Access to mentors, domain experts and essential early-stage services is considered essential for effective participation. Venture Builders must also be prepared to collaborate closely with TANSIM’s Regional Hubs and adhere to the scheme’s standard operating procedures, with flexibility offered to exceptional high-potential applicants.
By combining structured venture creation with statewide outreach, the Venture Builder Scheme opens the door to a future where innovative ideas can evolve into impactful businesses with the right support. It stands as a powerful opportunity for organisations committed to shaping Tamil Nadu’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
